Makan Pray Aloha Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. Our dream is that someday, we can transform our ʻāina (land) into a regenerative agroforestry farm.

Central Oʻahu, often seen as the piko (navel) of the island, holds our farm near the sacred birthstones of Hawaiian royalty, the aliʻi.
Historically known for sugarcane and pineapple plantations; today, it’s home to diversified agriculture and local farms.

Growing a Farm in Hawai'i, Located at Central O'ahu between between two volcanic mountain ranges: Wai‘anae Mountain Range (to the west) and Koʻolau Mountain Range (to the east).

In ancient Hawaiian perspective, Wai‘anae represents the feminine essence and Koʻolau respresents the masculine essence.

Wai‘anae, associated with the setting sun (leeward) and nurturing valleys, often linked to earth and life-giving abundance.

Koʻolau, associated with the rising sun (windward), powerful rains, and waterfalls cascading down steep ridges, often linked to protection and strength.

Dig In & Dream Big!

Ever wanted to play in the dirt? Now’s your chance! We’re setting up our dream farm, and we need some extra hands (and maybe a strong back or two). Come dig, hula hoeing, compost, plant, joyride the mini skid steer with cheer (responsibly, of course!) and laugh with us as we turn this āina (land) into a thriving oasis of trees, fresh herbs, fruits, flowers, and food!
